On Sunday mornings at New Hope we offer adult elective classes during both the 9:30 and 11:00 services. These classes serve a different purpose than our Discipleship Groups. The purpose of these classes is to offer in-depth study of books of the Bible or specific areas of life and how to view those areas through a Christian worldview. Our classes run on a quarterly schedule with many classes being offered multiple times a year. The current class schedule is available below. If you have any questions or need additional information fill out the info card below or contact the church office.

Sunday Morning Class Schedule

These classes will begin on June 4, 2017

9:30am on Sunday Morning

The book of Genesis led by Alan Niemeyer

A book study on the book of Genesis. This class will walk chapter by chapter through the book of Genesis.

The book of Revelation led by Stan Skillington

A class on the multiple views of the Revelation. This class will be an overview of multiple approaches to interpreting the book of Revelation.

Gospel of Luke led by Jerry Shultz

Here is a detailed account of the life and ministry of Jesus. Written by a doctor, Luke, who wanted his readers to "know for sure" the truth about Jesus and how His life, death, and resurrection can transform our lives.

Proverbs led by Dean Lamb

Timeless wisdom for your words, work, money and relationships

11:00am on Sunday Morning

Parables led by Jon Stafford and Bryan Langford

Others before and since have used stories in their teaching, but none compare to the stories told by Jesus. Filled with all kinds of twists and surprises, not one of His stories ended in a way the crowd expected. Come find the pearls of wisdom waiting to be discovered in the parables of Jesus.

Faith, Doubt, and Cultural Relevancy led by Chase Cotten

You have questions--deep, uncomfortable questions--about your faith. How do we practically defend what we believe? Is it all even true? What does our faith mean in our post-modern, western cultural context? How does our faith apply to the "big" issues we face today? This class will be a safe space to be vulnerable with each other in both asking and discussing some of our hardest questions as we work towards the goal of developing a more Christ-like worldview.
